ReplyDeleteHello, we do not have this one around. But that shouldn't be so hard to get. We will try :)
DeleteTwo areas of interest: 1) more in the way of jazz, 2) more remasters, japanese SHM-CD, and audiophile remasters (Mobile Fidelity, etc.) especially of "classic" rock releases your blog already stocks. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNot always easy to follow all the japanese remasters. Also, in the end it doesn't make that much sense to have SHM-CD verions in 320k ;) But we know where you're going to with this suggestions. Let's see what we can do :)
DeleteSecond, we post Jazz, especially Jazz Rock and Fusion, but we don't intend on digging into it, after all, this is Rock And Roll Archives ;)

ReplyDeleteHi! Unfortunately we don't have this one!
DeleteAs usual, what we don't have/find goes to our WANTED ALBUMS List. We had many albums sent our way like that :)
Hello,
ReplyDeleteYour website is fantastic, this is really Aladdin's cave!! (h)
There is just one thing i don't understand: why do you chose the mp3 format and not losseless one's like the flac?? The mp3 appear flat and seems to be much less alive...
It's just a question, i know it would be very very long to reupload the library!!!
Hello Nicolas. Thank you very much for your nice words and thank you for your visit.
ReplyDeleteHere on Rock And Roll Archives we want to share music with people. It's a way for people to know new bands. We hope that by knowing this new artists readers will find amazing albums and will buy them to add that fantastic piece of music on their collection.
We believe that if Mp3 320k (which is the highest available option for the format) is not enough for you that you should go ahead and buy the LP/CD/High Res download. We have no intention on going in the Flac world.
No to mention that uploading 300mb/500mb per album would be just silly as we post 8/10 albums a day.
Anyway, thank you again for your nice comment and hope to see you again :)
Hi, could you get the re-releases of the first two albums of Peter Murphy ("Should the world fail to fall apart" and "Love Hysteria) released 2011 and 2013 respectively? [They are in Spotify, but fuck streaming services >:)] Thanks!

ReplyDeleteHi there and thanks for the nice words!!
DeleteAs for the Jamul's second record we don't have it.
The Stones one we do have it, but we're very anti-compilation here, unless it's something that brings material which you cannot find in the studio albums or the studio albums are really rare, which doesn't seem to be the case here.
Parish Hall we have it. Just please be aware that will take a lot of time to post new albums :)
Here I am again. I have a disc by the (Russian?)band Epos:Rock-ballad Ilya, which I really like. They have another title.

DeletePopol Vuh was from Germany not Norway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the music.
Hermann
Hi Hermann.
DeleteFirst, please do not post on this thread for anything else than RESQUESTS.
Second, we are aware that Popol Vuh was a German band (http://www.rockandrollarchives.net/search/label/Popol%20Vuh), but apparently, the Norwegian band Popol Vuh wasn't. But, if you had checked the post you would know that there's a little warning in the band's name:
Artist: Popol Vuh (later renamed to Popol Ace)
Also: https://www.discogs.com/artist/1178641-Popol-Vuh-2
But thank you anyway for the heads up :)

DeleteThanks =)
DeleteIs it just me or is there a problem with your links? A page says "Server Error in '/' Application. blabla" and I can't get access to download :/
ReplyDeleteHi there MMMojo. I believe it was a momentary problem with Linkbucks. At least right now we tested a bunch of links and all of them are working.
DeleteIf the problem continues please leave a comment on the album you're trying to download so we can check the problem. Thanks
Hi,

Grace Jones - Nightclubbing
ReplyDeleteSuede - Suede
Hi there, Grace Jones is far far away from being a Rock release, even though we posted a bunch of non-Rock albums thats not the priority so this one we will not post.
DeleteSuede we will try to post.
No problem, I actually found the album a couple of weeks ago. But funny you say that, because the songs I've heard from this album seem to take heavy influence from reggae and new wave, and I only decided to get the full album after listening to her cover of Iggy Pop's Nightclubbing. But it seems her earlier work was in Disco, and it's not really my kind of music either, so I understand your reason, despite the site having albums of the genres I mentioned.
DeleteWell, thanks the Suede album in advance, and for the Moondog albums you posted a while ago. Those were hard to find.
Hello, You recently added Beyond Dreams by Galleon. Some more of their catalogue would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple more coming Uk1320 :)

Excellent site! Saw 4 Mark-Almond releases, and I would also like to request "Rising" and "LIVE '73" if you have them. The self titled debut album of Phoebe Snow too. Many thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteHi there. First of all, thank you for the complimments. Nice to hear that :)

Looking forward to them. Thanks again.
DeleteHi Leena, thanks again for posting my requests for Mark-Almond and Phoebe Snow albums. I have another which I have been looking for all over the internet for years to no avail. Maybe you have it in your vaults. It's the soundtrack to the 1970 movie "Fools" featuring Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, among others. Thanks

Hi Nikole sorry but, Iris DeMent plays pretty much Country/Americana and this is not the scope of the blog. When we do post something outside of Rock is when they have outside influences but the Rock is the main genre. After all, this is Rock And Roll Archives :)
